Invent a returning character of your own: how to make up a bedtime storyQuestions parents ask.
What is a bedtime story series?
A set of bedtime stories that share the same characters and places. Each story ends peacefully on its own, and the next one remembers what happened, so a friend, a keepsake or a promise can return.
Do we need to read these stories in order?
No. Every story is complete and ends calmly. Reading them in order lets your child notice what comes back: the blue lantern, the river stone and Sprocket himself.
How long are these stories?
Each one takes about 18 to 20 minutes to listen to with the narration, including a short introduction and goodnight, or about 26 to 31 minutes to read aloud at a slow bedtime pace. For a quick story, try our two-minute collections.
Were these stories made with Pimlo?
Yes. They were made with Pimlo for its own example world, with Pimlo, a small blue bedtime creature, as the main character, and passed the same checks as every Pimlo story. A family's own stories stay private to that family.
Tomorrow, the story continues
A story can be written anywhere. Pimlo remembers the world.
In Pimlo, every child gets a world like this one: their own characters and places, remembered from one bedtime to the next.
Parents set the age band and what to avoid, and stories are checked before playback.
