Pimlo is made by Ozessa Ltd, a small independent company founded in 2025 and registered in England and Wales. Pimlo was started by Aleks, its founder, who also writes our guides. We build Pimlo for parents and caregivers: children use it with a grown-up, and never have accounts of their own.

Stories are created with AI services, guided by what a parent chooses: the age band, interests, and anything a story should avoid. Your child's name is replaced with a made-up stand-in before anything is sent to the story-writing service. Every story is checked automatically for safety before your family can play it, and anything that fails is not shown. Every story is written to come to rest, with a gentle ending and no pressure to start another.

Each family's characters, stories and memories stay private to their household. Our privacy notice explains exactly what is sent, to whom, and for how long it is kept.

The free short stories on this site are written with the help of AI writing tools and edited by the Pimlo team. The pictures are made with AI image tools in Pimlo's art style. Every public story and picture is reviewed before it is published, and none comes from a family's private world. The Pimlo and Sprocket series was made with Pimlo itself, so you can hear what a continuing story sounds like.

Our guides, such as the bedtime routine guide and the bedtime calculator, are written by Aleks, Pimlo's founder, with the Pimlo team. Sleep amounts follow the American Academy of Sleep Medicine's recommendations for children, and each guide names its sources. The guides are practical suggestions for families, not medical advice: if you are worried about your child's sleep, talk to your pediatrician.

We update a page when its advice or its stories change. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
